Project Engineer (2-Years Contract / North) - #1104281

The Project Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.             

Responsibilities:      

• Advise on the technical aspects of the Project Design for large-scale projects.

• Participate in the resolution of Product Department technical issues as they arise during a project

• Coordination of project technical documentation including the PPE documents, customer and partner documents, and technical correspondence

• Participate in the risk assessment of technical aspects of the project and the development and application of appropriate risk mitigation measures

• Support of headquarters technical support for project construction, start-up and commissioning

• Participate in the necessary project processes

• Provide feedback to proposal group and other services throughout the project using the Lessons Learned Process

• Support Project Engineering team members and the Project Manager on project issues related to engineering and assign required technical resources to the project while meeting budget

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.

• At least 3 year of experience working in a professional environment.

• Experience in Relevant Engineering or relevant industry.

• High energy level - self-starter.

• Google suite proficiency.

• Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks.

• Leadership skills and ability to effectively operate in a matrix team / organization.

• Ability to organize, assess, orchestrate, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones, and deliverables.

• Presentation and Communication skills
