Senior Manager / Manager, Business Development, EaaS - #1103979

Job Description:

• Originate new business opportunities, strategize value creation both for Keppel & customer and convert opportunity to contract.

• Conduct market research and network to identify business opportunities in the Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) sector, with primary focus on Cooling-as-a-service (CaaS) business.

• Identify customer needs and build a robust opportunities pipeline across operational brownfield assets and under-development greenfield assets.

• Manage end-to-end business process from strategy, ideation, lead generation, business proposal preparation to contract negotiation and closing deals in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage ecosystem and channel partnerships with key decision makers and stakeholders in the industry.

• Be proactive in scouting needs, staying abreast of technology trends and foresights, and translating these into insightful reports.

• Develop and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients in the low carbon energy sector.

• Develop new business models or transform existing ones, including organisational development, capability mapping and operating model change.

• Manage project budgets and finances.

• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Degree in Engineering, Science or technologically-related fields with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree in business is advantageous.

• Familiarity with technology trends and innovation drivers in high-side cooling systems and industry best practices will be advantageous.

• Creative and innovation thinking with proven track record of energy transition success in securing new contracts in cooling sector.

• Solid commercial understanding with basic financial modelling, payback period analysis, etc. crucial .

• Passion for new technologies and technical acumen to evaluate their relevance in sustainability and energy efficiency.

• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of cooling business and service-based business models, including best practice processes.

• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary lean team environment and to take initiative and deliver projects independently when required.

• This role is based in Singapore but focuses on business development for the India market. Some overseas travel is to be expected.
