Position Title: Assistant Manager / Manager, Community Engagement (Content)
Location: Pasir Panjang
Employment Type: 12-month contract (renewable for another 12 months, subject to approval)
Salary Range: $4,500 – $6,000 per month

Are you passionate about tech storytelling and community engagement?
We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our team and drive compelling content creation and community outreach efforts in the tech space. You’ll bridge the gap between technical information and audience-friendly narratives, while also managing engaging community events.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development:

• Translate technical content into engaging and accessible narratives for diverse audiences (engineers, public officers, digital leaders).

• Draft and optimise content for the Singapore Government Developer Portal and other digital government publications.

• Apply SEO best practices and track content performance using tools like Google Search Console and Ahrefs.

• Create content strategies, templates, and layout plans to improve user experience.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, designers, and marketers.

• Stay updated on digital trends to propose fresh content ideas.

Community Engagement:

• Support planning and execution of tech community events (STACK).

• Manage event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and on-site AV setup.

• Compose promotional content for social media, emailers, and more.

• Maintain and analyse community membership data.

• Co-curate content with partners and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in tech, media, or content marketing.

• Strong writing and editing skills with a passion for technology.

• Familiarity with SEO tools and best practices.

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).

• Experience with AV setup and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) is a plus.

• Prior experience in event planning and/or tech community initiatives is an advantage.
