TCAD Engineer (Technology Development Device, R&D) - #1103853

Summary:

• Join a pioneering leader in the semiconductor foundry space, where innovation drives cutting-edge process technology. We are looking for a Technology Development Device / TCAD Engineer to join a dynamic R&D team focused on advancing next-generation semiconductor devices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research for novel device development using TCAD process and device simulations.

• Develop, calibrate, and document TCAD simulation decks in collaboration with the project team across various technology nodes.

• Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) via TCAD tools and generate tuning decks to optimize device performance.

• Design device test keys and layout studies, and carry out corresponding electrical measurements (bench testing).

• Analyze electrical results to identify improvement opportunities and optimize both device performance and reliability.

• Lead structured, hypothesis-driven experiments to validate and tune device characteristics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and analytical thinking.

• Hands-on experience in TCAD simulation tools (e.g., Synopsys Sentaurus, Silvaco) and calibration techniques.

• Familiarity with layout work and physical design tools is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Self-motivated, data-driven, and eager to take on technical challenges in a fast-paced R&D environment.
