University Rankings Coordinator, 6 months Maternity Cover
Summary
This role supports the maintenance and coordination of university ranking submissions, reporting, and promotional activities, ensuring timely, accurate data management and effective stakeholder collaboration during the maternity leave period.
Key Responsibilities:
1) University Ranking Optimisation
- Coordinate and ensure the timely submission of data to major ranking agencies, including Times Higher Education (THE) and QS, in accordance with established processes and timelines.
- Serve as the central point for gathering necessary data and inputs from stakeholders in Singapore and Australia to support accurate and complete submissions.
- Review all data for accuracy, flag any discrepancies, and follow up with the relevant departments in Singapore and Australia to finalise data for submission.
- Maintain workflows and documentation for ranking submissions, and act as the primary point of contact for all QS and THE communications.
- Track upcoming ranking cycles and deadlines, proactively flag key dates or issues, and coordinate responses to queries from QS and THE.
- Lead the process of obtaining nominated contacts from colleagues in Australia and Singapore for participation in the QS surveys.
- Manage the distribution of survey consent requests and compile all confirmed Academic and Employer participants in the QS submission templates.
- Attend QS and THE webinars, masterclasses, and methodology sessions and document key takeaways.
- Track and report published ranking results; provide a brief summary analysis.
2) Rankings Promotions
- Support submission of case studies for the THE Asia Awards.
- Maintain and publish a monthly rankings newsletter via Mailchimp, ensuring content is accurate and aligned with key developments.
- Update and maintain the rankings webpage on the website and provide the branding team with any new ranking outcomes or profile updates.
3) Sustainability
- Monitor key case studies and initiatives from Singapore and Australia relevant to the University's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Coordinate the collection and documentation of information needed for submissions to the THE Impact Rankings and QS Sustainability Rankings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with basic data analysis and comfortable handling numerical data.
- Able to work independently with initiative and minimal supervision.
- Ability to write content for newsletters and communications.
- Effective communicator with cross-functional teams across locations.
- Reliable and timely in coordinating data verification.
- Comfortable using Mailchimp and data tracking tools.
- Flexible and adaptable with a focus on maintaining established processes.
