Responsibilities:
- Facilities system ownership on operation and maintenance pertaining to 100K clean room, centralized air conditioning, Industrial exhaust, process utilities, DI water system, vacuum system, compress air system, process cooling water system, and other miscellaneous facilities systems for Semiconductor Test factory.
- Ensure continuous supply of utilities and related facilities at the required performance level or specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement of facilities equipment key performance indicators such as % availability, mean time to repair (MTTR) and mean time between failure (MTBF).
- Evaluate skill levels of new technicians, develop training materials, coach and train team members for improving team and facilities equipment performance. Provide technical assistance in installation and maintenance of company facilities equipment.
- Document maintenance procedures and processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and support audit functions.
- Ensure safety requirement is strictly followed and all vendors must meet our safety expectation before commencement of work.
- Analyse facilities equipment malfunctions and accordingly develop corrective actions.
- Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce facilities equipment failures.
- Work with management to develop facilities equipment improvement plan & budget.
- Maintain documentations for facilities equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purposes.
- Provide urgent/ad-hoc support for troubleshooting facilities equipment, even during off-office hours, so as to achieve continuous running of the facilities.
- Test and approve new facilities equipment before commissioning.
- Develop cost-reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality and productivity.
- Provide job assistance and conduct job trainings for employees as needed.
- Any additional tasks as assigned by the manager or management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in facilities & maintenance, repair or servicing of Semiconductor testing facilities equipment.
- Able to demonstrate good communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen) and demonstrate resource planning capability.
- Experienced facility engineer or field service engineering professional who is highly effective working in a team-oriented matrix organization.
- Must have proven skills effective problem solving, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis, on facilities management.
