Job Summary
5.5-day work week with AWS, variable bonus, company transport (allowed to drive home), and other benefits.
The Project Manager oversees project planning and execution, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
Requires travel to project sites as needed.
Class 3 Driving License is mandatory
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and supervise the Project and Maintenance Team.
Oversee overall project planning, cost control, and project management.
Conduct site inspections before work begins.
Manage the tendering process for projects.
Prepare and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
Interpret detailed drawings and construction plans, with an understanding of fabrication methods.
Develop and manage the annual budget, including maintenance.
Create, oversee, and maintain project schedules and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
Liaise closely with designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.
Ensure all necessary approvals from landlords/local authorities are obtained before work begins.
Oversee daily project progress on-site and resolve issues with contractors, vendors, and building facility management.
Attend regular site meetings and inspections.
Monitor project status and take necessary actions to ensure timely progress.
Supervise quality and contractor/vendor performance through regular inspections and snagging.
Ensure compliance with local authority requirements on-site.
Enforce site safety procedures, identify and manage risks.
Conduct final quality audits for completed work and ensure progressive snagging and defects clearance.
Coordinate timely project handovers with the Operations Team.
Address post-construction issues with the Operations Team, consultants, contractors, vendors, and relevant authorities, ensuring timely rectifications.
Assist in developing and managing strategic plans and initiatives to meet the company’s goals.
Job Requirements:
NTC/Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, Process Engineering, or related fields.
At least 3-5 years of experience in the food industry sector (e.g., food court and coffee shop projects, reinstatement works).
Proven experience in managing and leading a Project/Maintenance Team.
Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
