Senior Manager, Procurement - GH

Are you a strategic and forward-thinking procurement leader ready to take on a high-impact role? Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Procurement to lead end-to-end procurement operations, drive process innovation, and guide a high-performing team.

This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and digital procurement transformation—someone who can influence outcomes and deliver value across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Procurement Oversight: Develop and execute robust procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.

  • Policy & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance standards, and relevant regulations.

  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee renewals, negotiations, and maintenance of a centralized contract register.

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze procurement data, track vendor performance, and present key insights to senior leadership.

  • Market & Industry Trends: Stay ahead of supply market developments to inform sourcing strategies and manage risk.

  • Financial Management: Lead procurement budgeting, forecasting, and support audit and reporting requirements.

  • Process & Technology Enablement: Drive implementation and optimization of e-procurement tools and systems.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a procurement team to ensure high performance, engagement, and accountability.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field is required.

  • 10 years of relevant procurement experience

  • Demonstrated success in implementing e-procurement systems and streamlining workflows using digital tools.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Materials Management

  • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders effectively.

  • Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach and sound financial judgment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
