Network engineer (Alcatel/Cisco) - #1102751

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, and maintain Layer 2/3 network infrastructure (VLANs, HSRP) using Cisco and Alcatel switches.

• Administer and troubleshoot firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet), F5 Load Balancer, and Aruba ClearPass (NAC).

• Support and maintain campus-wide network systems including switches, firewalls, access points, wireless controllers, and structured cabling (UTP/Fiber).

• Monitor network performance, fine-tune systems, interpret traffic patterns, and ensure high availability.

• Implement and maintain firewall rules and security settings.

• Upgrade firmware/OS on network devices and ensure documentation and SOPs are updated and followed.

• Collaborate with Service Desk and On-site Support teams to resolve network issues and fulfill service requests.

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on with Cisco, Alcatel, Juniper network equipment.

• Familiarity with SOE (Standard Operating Environment) environments.

• Strong understanding of routing, switching, structured cabling, and security.
