JOB SUMMARY

The WSHO cum FSM will be assisting AMK site lead in facilities management as well as Environmental Health and Safety for the workplace. The executive will undertake on safety matters and ensuring compliance with regulations, fostering a culture of safety awareness within the organisation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Appointed MOM Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to assist SG Venture sites.

• Registered fire safety manager (FSM) for Jurong Venture.

• Responsible for safety, occupational health, environmental, fire safety.

• Liaise with Government agencies on EHS matters and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations such as MOM, NEA, PUB & SCDF etc.

• Support in Internal & External audits for Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), ISO 14001 audits and any other audit(s) as required in the context of FSS.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and develop safe work procedures.

• Conduct near-miss incident/accident investigations, emergency response and safety & health matters, and implement corrective measures to prevent occurrence.

• Conduct regular workplace inspections to assess safety performance, identify areas of improvement and monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.

• Develop and conduct relevant emergency response training, drills and tabletop exercises.

• Formulate and update emergency response plan (ERP)

• Conduct safety training, orientation and briefing to employees and contractors.

• Support Facilities Site Lead in secondary duties (work coordination, audit, RFQ, administration).

• Any other instructions or assignments by reporting officer.

   

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma specialized in Environmental/Health/Safety, Engineering Diploma equivalent or above.

• Good knowledge in Workplace Safety & Health Act, ISO14000 requirements.

• Engineering background.

JOB-RELATED SKILLS & PRE-REQUISITES

• Must be MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).

• Must be SCDF FSM certified.

• Proficient in MS Office and good in data analysis.

• Engineering background, familiar with ACMV and Air-compressors.

• Possess good working attitude and is a team player.
