Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E Subcons - 5 days) - #1102706

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties for M&E projects.

• Prepare cost estimation, tender submission, and bills of quantities (BQ) for mechanical and electrical works.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for M&E materials and packages.

• Evaluate and certify progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts from subcontractors and suppliers.

• Monitor project budgets, cash flows, and cost control to ensure profitability and timely delivery.

• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors on commercial and contractual issues.

• Support project managers in procurement planning, change management, and risk assessments.

• Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and safety regulations.

• For Senior QS: Mentor junior QS staff and take lead on high-value or complex projects.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or related discipline.

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in M&E quantity surveying, preferably in industrial, commercial or data-centre projects.

• Strong understanding of M&E systems (ACMV/Electrical systems), materials, and installation methods.

• Familiarity with SIA, PSSCOC, or FIDIC contract forms is preferred.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and QS software such as CostX or similar.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
