Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Next.js Developer to join our team. Your main focus will be migrating our existing medium-sized Next.js application from the pages router to the new app router. You will also be responsible for providing technical support and implementing new features as needed. This is an individual contributor role, and you will be directly involved in coding, troubleshooting, and delivering solutions.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience with Next.js and React.js.
Familiarity with Next.js’ Server Components and Server Actions.
Strong skills in TypeScript.
Solid understanding of MongoDB, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, shadcn UI.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the migration of our Next.js application from the pages directory to the app directory, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.
Respond to and resolve technical issues related to the Next.js application, providing support to users as needed.
Build and integrate new features and enhancements based on project requirements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Work closely with other team members, including developers and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Monitor and optimize application performance for speed and reliability.
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for the application.
