KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Understanding Markets & Maximizing Revenue
Develop and execute a coherent sales strategy with a focus on maximising property revenue whilst optimising occupancy levels
Respond to all queries to incoming accommodation and event rental inquiries
Identify customer segments and build up new corporate accounts for capsule and room sales, with a focus on customer retention tactics
Respond to all incoming business opportunities and requests, and provide full cycle services to all corporate bookings
Execute and provide guidance to the various teams on requests made by confirmed bookings, offering solutions to customers prior to and during their stay
Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of stay experience to corporate clients and their end-users.
Liaise with the Business Manager for pricing decisions and corporate rate codes, and ensure booking flows are smooth for new corporate clients
Liaise with the Operations team to update handover folders and rooming lists to front office teams for incoming corporate groups, and brief operational teams on requirements of corporate groups
Liaise with the Marketing team to provide updates to LinkedIn and other corporate social networks, and brainstorm channels from which to funnel corporate business
Familiarize with latest market trends and new business development opportunities and activities
Understand the overall accommodation market in Singapore, evaluating competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knowing how to sell against them
Participate actively in industry events and conferences in order to build up the corporate profile
Requirements
Minimum Diploma
Minimum 6 years of sales experience with a proven track record of closing sales.
Having at least 2 years of experience in a hotel with proven sales track record will be an advantage.
Relevant experience in handling Corporate and MICE groups
Good influencing skills and the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
An excellent team player who is able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
Solid negotiation and presentation skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
