About the role

CDI Energy Products Pte. Ltd. is seeking a driven and experienced CNC Lead to join our team in the Tuas West Region. This full-time position will be responsible for overseeing the CNC machining operations and ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of critical components for the energy industry.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the CNC machining department, including scheduling work, monitoring productivity, and troubleshooting issues

• Provide technical guidance and support to the CNC machining team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to optimize workflows and implement process improvements

• Develop and implement training programs to upskill the CNC machining team

• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the final products meet the highest standards

• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the CNC machining operations

• Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance on CNC machines

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a CNC machining lead or supervisory role, preferably in the Trades & Services or Fitters, Turners & Machinists industries

• Strong technical expertise in CNC programming, Automation set-up, and operation, robotic with a deep understanding of machine capabilities and limitations

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues

• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team, with a focus on training and development

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
