Trade Support Executive - #1102285

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full scope of shipping operations, including contract management and documentation.
• Oversee order processing and invoice generation for both local and international customers.
• Prepare and handle complete shipping documentation for efficient turnaround, shipment processing, contract allocation, and vessel nomination.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers, buyers, shipbrokers, ship owners/agents, surveyors, insurers, etc., ensuring smooth loading and delivery.
• Liaise with banks for opening Letters of Credit, clean negotiations, and collection documentation.
• Track shipping claims, demurrage/dispatch, receivables, payables, and aged client accounts.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Commercial, Risk, Global Offices, Finance, Accounts, Pricing, Chartering, etc.) to identify and address execution risks in advance.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to shipment execution.
• Adhere to company SOPs to ensure seamless operations.
• Handle additional shipping or operational tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics and operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
