Production Supervisor - #1101256

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Santoku BASF Pte. Ltd.'. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in the Tuas West Region. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership position and contribute to the success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise personnel in the production of products consistent with quality and
  safety standards
• Ensure production schedule targets are achieved though coordination with
  relevant parties
• Support production scheduling function and provide feedback
• Ensure production staff and PICs and working in accordance to procedures and
  meeting QMS requirements
• Monitor discipline of staff provide regular feedback to ensure staff is operating with
  compliance
• Perform regular checks and audits on production processes with regards to
  unusual occurrences, good housekeeping and work flow
• Promptly highlight and resolves issues or non-compliances
• Promptly complete and check required records and documentation in accordance
  to procedures
• Participate in special or project teams where assigned

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-5 years of supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of production processes and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently, lead and motivate teams to achieve operational targets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using Microsoft office 
• Diploma in Engineering & Sciences or a related field preferred
• Ideally possess Work-at-Height and Forklift license
