Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and site survey data.

• Develop technical installation solutions that are feasible, efficient, and cost-effective.

• Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Legal, HSE) to align on project solutions.

• Conduct site visits to assess logistics, feasibility, and identify potential subcontractors.

• Prepare technical specifications and RFQs for subcontractors; evaluate their proposals from technical, commercial, and scheduling perspectives.

• Estimate installation costs and assess associated risks.

• Prepare technical documentation required for customer submissions, including installation plans and methodology.

• Participate in customer and internal meetings for clarification and negotiation purposes.

• Update and revise proposals as needed due to changing requirements or feedback.

• Attend internal kick-off meetings and handover all relevant documentation to the project execution team.

• Support project teams during the early stages of execution, providing clarifications and technical assistance.

• Participate in meetings with customers and subcontractors when needed.

• Track deviations from original proposals and contribute to lessons learned for future tenders.

Requirements

• Master/Degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines preferred.

• Knowledge or experience related to submarine cable installation or marine/offshore projects is a plus.

• Experience with proposal engineering tasks, including costing, planning, subcontractor coordination, and technical proposal preparation, is beneficial.

• Exposure to negotiation processes and cross-department collaboration is preferred.
