Responsibilities:
(Reservation & Administrative)
Answering phone inquiries on hotel bookings
Replying to email inquiries
Assisting customers on accommodation, F&B options and based on budgetary allowances
Advising guests on local activities, attractions and other places of interest.
Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
Selling, up-selling and promoting reservation services, current promotions and value added deals.
Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process, payments, amendments or cancellations.
Updates room allotment and rates on Online Travel Agency (OTA) websites. Well versed in OTA platforms.
Prepares month-end reports for OTAs (Booking.com/ Expedia) billing.
Organizes and files booking forms, contracts and important department documents.
Updates Hotel policies, SOPs, room regulations and occupancy forecast as needed.
Schedule appointments when needed.
(Room Sales)
Promote and offers new sales ideas, hotel promotions and other revenue generating options.
Identify new markets, new advertising/distribution channels and business opportunities to increase sales.
Responsible for corporate and travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel.
Understands hotels business strategies then set goals and determines action plans to meet goals.
Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies.
Represents the department in client meetings (personal/ virtual), events, and exhibition.
Conducts sales calls and arrange site inspection trips for corporate clients and guests alike.
Researches and reaches out to potential corporate accounts.
Remains updated on the current and latest industry news to ensure timely and strategic steps.
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
Prepares reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned.
Continuously monitor booking pace; responds to unexpected variances (such as changes in pandemic Phases and sudden group cancellations due to unforeseen but expected reasons).

Assists in front desk operations as front desk officer, when needed.
Performs and accomplishes any other task/s assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum a Diploma preferably in Hotel management
At least 3 to 4 years working experience for the BDM (specialized in room sales) in Singapore hotel industry
Proficient in MS Office including Powerpoint
Highly responsible and reliable with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities .
Must have strong passion and drive for sales
Able to work with all levels; Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as a team player
