What You Will Do
Perform inspection of shop and contractor compliance to identify EH&S non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices.
Schedule medical and periodic tests at workplaces for hazard monitoring, such as radiation, chemical, biological, noise, laser and other industrial hygiene hazards.
Conduct EH&S orientation for new hires and transfers.
Coordinate emergency preparedness for CERT through training and drills/exercises.
Assist in inspection and calibration of EHS equipment and orders of safety equipment and services to meet EH&S standards.
Perform role of an Assessor to endorse permit (Eg: Working at Height, Confined space, Hot Work etc).
Assist in the development, maintenance, and updating of EH&S procedures, work instructions, training materials, and related documentation.
Assist with incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Collect, analyze, and report EH&S performance data (safety and sustainability) to support continuous improvement.
Provide EH&S technical support for risk assessments, machine guarding, ergonomics (Humantech), industrial hygiene, and permit-to-work systems.
Participate in EH&S Council and Sub-committee proactive improvement projects and activities.
Assist in RTX EH&S Management System to foster a culture of safety and drive toward an injury-free workplace.
Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
2 years of relevant EH&S experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
Familiarity with local and international EH&S regulations and standards.
Experience in supporting ISO 45001 or ISO14001 audits and implementation.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Meticulous and exhibit a high level of integrity.
Qualifications We Prefer
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B WSH Coordinator).
BizSAFE Level 2 / Level 3.
MOM-recognized Safety and Health certifications.
