What you'll be doing?

• Project Planning and Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery.

• Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and proactively recommend solutions to keep projects on track.

• Client and Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary liaison with clients, vendors, and stakeholders, fostering effective communication and addressing concerns.

• Production Oversight: Oversee overall project and production functions, ensuring quality and efficiency in all processes.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate coordination among departments, clients, inspectors, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

• Vendor Management: Participate in subcontracting and purchasing committees to select reliable contractors and suppliers, evaluating cost and delivery schedules.

• Contract Management: Manage contractual requirements for all projects, including payment terms and variation orders.

• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and resolve issues in projects, leveraging your expertise to drive successful outcomes.

• Team Leadership: Plan, organize, and assign tasks to project engineers and fabrication teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Budget Management: Manage the project's budget and implement effective cost-control measures to ensure financial success.

• Cost Recovery: Ensure all variation costs for out-of-scope works are properly captured and claimed, maximizing project profitability.

• Strategic Development: Contribute to the development of company facilities and conduct training for department personnel, driving continuous improvement.

Who are they looking for?

• Engineering Background: A Diploma or Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, with a passion for applying theoretical knowledge to practical solutions.

• Industry Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field, but candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong potential are also encouraged to apply.

• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

• Communication Prowess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

• Problem-Solving Aptitude: Proficient problem-solving abilities to tackle complex engineering challenges.

• Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership skills or the ability to develop into a strong leader.

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on expertise in sheet metal, structural platforms, and fabrication manufacturing, with a willingness to continue learning and growing.

• Fabrication Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of welding, tube and pipe cutting and bending, structural design-to-build processes, painting, and general fabrication techniques.

• Production Management: Competence in managing production planning, scheduling, and coordinating with external subcontractors, or eagerness to develop these skills.
