We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring smooth stock operations, and providing essential administrative support to the department. If you possess excellent communication skills, are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Inventory Management:
- Efficiently prepare, monitor, and maintain inventory stocks to ensure accuracy and availability at all times.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records of inventory usage across the organization.
- Initiate purchase requests and accurately process Goods Received Notes (GRN) to support procurement activities.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse staff and project teams to maintain optimal stock levels and meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits to uphold precise inventory records.
- Promptly investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
- Participate in inventory optimisation initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Stay updated on inventory management SOPs, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve processes.
2) Administrative Support:
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the Person-in-Charge (PIC) and Officer-in-Charge (OIC), including organizing and filing key documents such as transfer, return, and recovery vouchers.
- Develop a strong understanding of departmental business processes and systems to effectively support daily operations.
- Manage professional communication and liaise effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows.
- Assist with various ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years proven experience in inventory management or a related administrative role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for efficient task management and professional correspondence.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred experience in supply chain management, particularly within warehousing or logistics.
