Machinist (Grinding) /& Machinist (Barrel) - Entry Level @Joo Koon - #1101170

Information:

• Weekly- Rotating Shift; Basic $2,500 - $3,500

  Morning Shift: 7am - 3pm; Afternoon Shift: 3pm - 11pm ($8.50/day); Night Shift: 11pm - 7am ($14/day)

• Company transport at various location in the west

• ITE/Diploma in Engineering. Entry level welcome to apply.

1. Machinist (Grinding)

• Start up & shut down a grinding machine according to the guideline 

• Daily lubrication and maintenance of machine and duties such as wheel dressing and machine setup.

•  Perform grinding operations to components such as Inner/Outer Bore or Roller Path, etc.  

• Ensure established parameters, minimal scrap and acceptable levels of output. 

• Load part(s) into parts feeder or loading chute; cycle machine or engage automatic feed. 

• Replace worn grinding wheels and activates present dressing devices to dress wheels 

• Monitor machine whether adjustments are require or stop machine operations when malfunctions  

• Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications.

•  Lead on maintenance improvement projects and process improvement activities.

2. Machinist (Barrel)

• Follow heat treat scheduling to ensure proper sequence for product through heat-treating cycles.

• Load and unload furnaces and deal safely with any waste products. 

• Set temperature for particular treatment, and onitor the treatment cycle. 

• Responsible for heat-treat process and furnace accuracy to ensure uniformity.

•  Test samples for hardness and ensure that they meet the customer’s specifications.

• Repetitively lift and move parts on and off pallets.

• Involved in machine and equipment shifting as and when required.
