Job Description

• Deliver comprehensive HR support across both operational and strategic areas to help achieve company goals.

• Lead and manage the HR team to ensure effective implementation and administration of all HR functions.

• Oversee timely processing and payment of payroll, claims, CPF contributions, and levies.

• Ensure adherence to the Employment Act, relevant government regulations, and internal company policies.

• Evaluate manpower requisitions for both replacements and new hires, whether permanent or temporary.

• Promptly respond to manpower needs by coordinating job postings, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews to ensure both job and cultural fit.

• Identify training and development needs, propose appropriate programs, and support their implementation to address skill gaps.

• Support the annual performance appraisal and promotion process by compiling and reviewing assessment ratings for management approval.

• Organize employee communication sessions and oversee staff recognition initiatives.

• Provide guidance and support to department heads on issues related to employee discipline, grievances, and conflict resolution.

• Continuously assess and improve HR policies, processes, and compensation and benefits structures.

• Maintain a strong working relationship with union representatives to foster a positive labor-management environment.

• Lead initiatives focused on reducing HR-related costs.

• Offer counseling and advice to employees on HR matters.

• Manage general administrative tasks including mail handling and office safety and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Capital Management

• Relevant HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
