QA / QC Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) #HJX - #1100754

• Assist and Support QA/QC engineer in all aspects of works, including:

• Assist the QA/QC Site Engineer in conducting inspections and tests on trackwork, mechanical , electrical equipment, materials, and installations.

• Review electrical design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

• Attend pre-inspection meetings with sub-contractors and other stakeholders to understand specific quality control requirements and expectations.

• Monitor the installation and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

• Perform visual inspections of electrical work, including wiring, terminations, grounding, and labeling, to identify potential non-conformances.

• Conduct basic electrical tests using appropriate equipment, such as multimeter and insulation tester, to verify proper functionality and safety.

• Document and report non-conformities, deviations, and deficiencies in electrical installations and equipment, recommending corrective actions and liaising with relevant personnel.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformity reports using quality control software or manual forms.

• Assist with the preparation of quality control plans and procedures specific to electrical work for different project phases.

• Participate in quality control audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the QA/QC Site Engineer or project manager.

• Communicating effectively with the electrical site supervisor, project manager, various stake holders e.g. other contractors (System Wide Contractors), SBST, LTA.
