Responsibilities
Develop strategic plans for new store openings, lease renewals, relocations, expansions, and closures.
Lead lease negotiations and manage ongoing renewals with landlords.
Evaluate the impact of renovation cycles, sales transfers, project rollouts, and changes in store portfolio (e.g., expansions, closures, relocations).
Conceptualize creative design proposals for tender submissions and maintain a network of designers for collaborative projects.
Coordinate closely with Project and Maintenance teams to address facility-related concerns, renovations, and landlord-driven improvements.
Review lease agreements, consult legal counsel as needed, and flag any contractual discrepancies or concerns.
Manage and follow up on all lease documentation to ensure timely completion; maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing reports and schedules.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly updates and reports to Senior Management.
Build and nurture strong relationships with landlords, property agents, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure all leasing activities comply with legal and operational standards.
Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and evaluate potential expansion opportunities.
Collaborate with landlords and agents to secure new locations via tenders or direct negotiations.
Foster long-term stakeholder relationships to support future growth and partnerships.
Keep abreast of real estate trends and market developments in Singapore, consistently scouting for suitable locations for brand expansion.
Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and business gatherings as needed.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related discipline, with at least 2–3 years of experience in tenancy management and leasing.
Strong presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Sound understanding of commercial lease terms and conditions.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Skilled at coordinating cross-functional resources to drive business development.
Highly analytical with a strong commercial mindset.
Prior experience in the F&B sector and familiarity with both public and private tendering processes will be advantageous.
