 Your Job

As an Engineer, Project Management at Molex Singapore, you will lead assigned projects with full accountability for their success. This includes managing the start, planning, implementation, monitoring, and closure of projects while overseeing company-wide resource allocation efforts for product families. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to follow the New Product Introduction (NPI) procedure, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and deploy a Principled-Based Management (PBM) culture across all activities.

 Our Team

You will be part of the DSS division at Molex Singapore, collaborating with internal functional departments across the organization to achieve project goals. Your role will also involve working with external vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

 What You Will Do

• Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in planning and executing projects related to New Product Development, product modifications, and capacity expansion, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills, effectively influencing team members, management, and external contacts to achieve positive project outcomes.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to kick off projects, define scopes, objectives, deliverables, timelines, sample builds, and budgets, and ensure seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

• Build and manage comprehensive project schedules, define critical paths, monitor activities, and ensure functional team members meet deadlines. Provide regular status updates and escalate critical issues when necessary.

• Review project processes continuously, providing updated reports to team members and management while identifying and implementing areas for improvement.

• Promote and implement the Principled-Based Management (PBM) philosophy and contribute to enhancing the NPI and Product Development Process (PDP) systems.

 Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Hold a university degree or higher, with a background in engineering or business.

• Have at least 5 years of working experience, including hands-on experience in project management.

• Possess excellent communication skills for collaborating with global cross-functional teams.

• Familiar with NPI project development procedures and project management tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, and Smartsheet.

• Display a strong sense of urgency, a can-do attitude, and the passion to work as a leader.

 What Will Put You Ahead

• Working experience in a multinational company, particularly in the connector industry or new product development.

• Specialization in engineering or business, with a focus on project management.

• Excellent presentation skills and basic financial costing knowledge.
