Freight Forwarding Supervisor (Air Freight / Customer Service) - #1100465

We are looking for an experienced Airfreight Operations Lead to manage and oversee daily export shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, support customer satisfaction, and lead a team in delivering smooth and timely logistics services for a global 3PL MNC.

Job Info:

• Basic up to $4400 + AWS + VB

• 5.5 Days Work Week (Office Hours)

• Location : Alps Avenue

• Company Transport Provided – Islandwide Pick-Up Points

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with IATA regulations and customer SOPs for cargo handling

• Address customer enquiries and complaints, and coordinate recovery actions

• Liaise with overseas agents on shipment requirements and rate negotiations

• Review shipping documents (AWB/HAWB) and flag discrepancies

• Work with export ops team to ensure accurate documentation and invoicing

• Coordinate oversized, sensitive, and high-value shipments

• Provide backup support during manpower shortages

• Lead and train the team; handle operational escalations and resolve discrepancies

• Track KPIs, GM targets, and ensure timely billing

• Conduct compliance audits and propose process improvements

• Manage claims, CAPARs, and communication with auditors and vendors

• Lead meetings, manage supplier invoice disputes, and support ad-hoc duties

• Ensure team compliance with company policies and core values

• Monitor, coach, and guide team performance

• Support team development and role clarity in coordination with HR

• Communicate departmental and procedural updates effectively

Job Requirements:

• Ideally possesses at least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding

• Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) trained will be an advantage
