What you will do:
Participates as a member of a development team. Conducts engineering, process and / or financial tasks during project development. Performs high-level analysis focused on components of bundled sales. Helps assess new projects and determine design needs and budget.
How you will do it:
Mentored and supervised junior engineers, ensuring team performance aligned with department goals.
Promoted collaborative problem-solving and guided professional development within the team.
Led large, multidisciplinary project for clients in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy industries, ensuring compliance with international standards (NFPA, International maritime classification societies like ABS/DNV/LR/BV).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across southeast Asia, India and Korea to address customer inquiries.
Provide pre-sales support to the Sales team, including proposal costing and attending technical clarifications meeting and/or technical presentation with customers.
Perform design and prepare engineering drawings (2D) and documentation as per customer’s/project requirements.
Provide technical support and/or propose alternative technical solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
Compilation and submission of all documentations as required as per the project requirements
Liaise and maintain a good relationship with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Maintain and organize tender-related files, quotations, and documents.
What we look for:
Diploma /Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
5 to 10 Years exp in Design and Estimation for Fire Protection & Suppression systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Resourceful, results-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
Able to work independently and deliver results for multiple projects under tight deadlines
Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, International maritime classification requirements, and Oil & Gas industry practices.
Willing to learn new things.
Perform any additional duties as required, whether scheduled or ad-hoc.
Strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, customer-focused mindset, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
