About the role
McConnell Dowell is seeking to hire an experienced Surveyor for a marine works project in Changi East.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

• Timely provision of effective surveying services to the project.
• Implementing pertinent requirements of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) including referenced procedures.
• Establishing and /or verifying control data for the works.
• Establishing the position and location of all permanent and temporary structures within the specified tolerances.
• Establish and /or verifying benchmarks and recovery points.
• Provide data as necessary to facilitate engineering and design.
• Provision of positional verification services.
• Collection of accurate As-built data.
• Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities as specified.
• Procurement and maintenance of survey equipment, including the organization of any equipment/instrument calibrations.
• Engineering exercises as required; volumes, earthworks, quantity take-offs.
• Provide field survey information to construction staff.
• Organise survey activities so as to avoid delays to the construction work.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will have

• Relevant tertiary qualification in surveying.
• Minimum of 5 years surveying experience in the construction industry preferably on marine projects.
• Competent in use of Survey packages.
• Ability to communicate with construction field staff and coordinate on survey issues.
• Able to work on alternate Saturdays.
• Transport pick up at Tanah Merah MRT.
