Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Logistics Operations Officer to manage
and enhance our logistics and fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will have at least
two years of experience in logistics, with a strong background in delivery operations,
fulfillment efficiency, and team leadership. This role will also include responsibility for
driver assignment, fleet coordination, and ensuring timely deliveries, while leading the
customer service team to maintain service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Fulfillment Operations
∙Oversee daily logistics and fulfillment processes, ensuring orders are picked, packed,
and dispatched accurately and on time.
∙Track and improve key logistics KPIs, including order fulfillment rate, delivery
timeliness, and inventory accuracy.
∙Coordinate with internal teams and external logistics partners to meet service level
agreements (SLAs).
Fleet Management & On-Time Delivery
∙Assign and deploy the right drivers and delivery resources based on route plans, job
volume, and delivery priorities.
∙Monitor real-time delivery performance and proactively address delays or disruptions.
∙Optimize delivery schedules and routes in collaboration with the planning team to
improve fleet utilization and reduce turnaround time.
∙Maintain visibility on driver performance and ensure compliance with company
policies and safety standards.
Process Improvement
∙Identify operational bottlenecks and lead initiatives to improve fulfillment and
delivery efficiency.
∙Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics and
delivery operations.
∙Use data and reporting tools to track performance and recommend actionable
improvements.
Customer Service Team Management
∙Supervise the customer service team to ensure fast, accurate, and courteous handling
of customer inquiries and issues.
∙Monitor team metrics such as response time, resolution rate, and performance scores.
∙Conduct regular team reviews, provide training and coaching to enhance service
levels.
∙Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive customer cases and ensure
satisfactory resolution.
Requirements
∙Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or fulfillment operations.
∙Proven experience in managing delivery operations and driver coordination.
∙Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-
solving.
∙Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
∙Proficient in logistics systems and tools such as WMS, route optimization software,
and CRM platforms.
∙Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
∙Experience in last-mile delivery, e-commerce logistics, warehouse fulfilment or
courier service environments.
∙Familiarity with customer service platforms
∙Knowledge of route planning and fleet dispatching tools.
∙Certification in logistics or process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
