Senior/Process Integration Engineer | Semicon | RTMW (ID:678266) - #1099851
Persolkelly

Responsibilities:
[85%]
· Own process integration across the full development lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to pilot and mass production—for MEMS microphone products.
· Translate device designs into robust, scalable process flows with strong focus on design-for-manufacturability (DFM), cost, and reliability.
· Collaborate with foundry teams (TD, PI, module owners) to qualify, optimize, and sustain critical MEMS process steps (e.g., DRIE, thin film deposition, sacrificial release, lithography).
· Lead structured problem-solving efforts (e.g., FA, RCA) and implement effective countermeasures for process-related yield and reliability issues.
· Serve as a technical bridge between external foundry fabs and inhouse design, packaging, reliability, and test teams to ensure seamless integration across product development stages.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation: process flows, control plans, FMEA, work instructions, qualification reports, and support design reviews and tape-outs.
[15%]
· Contribute to early-stage technology development by participating in roadmap discussions and hands-on prototyping of novel MEMS structures and process flows.
· Drive R&D of new materials and process modules to enhance performance, reliability, and manufacturability of MEMS microphones.
· Conduct experimental trials and materials evaluation in collaboration with internal labs and external R&D partners.
· Lead or support Lab-to-Fab and Fab-to-Fab transfers, ensuring process readiness, scalability, and yield performance during NPI ramp-up.
· Support patent filings, technical publications, and research proposals aligned with MEMS integration and process innovation.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
· 2–5+ years of experience in MEMS process/process integration, semiconductor fabrication, or microfabrication development in R&D lab.
· Familiarity with MEMS microphones or similar devices (e.g., inertial sensors, pressure sensors, acoustic transducers) is a plus.
· Experience with core MEMS fabrication steps such as LPCVD/PECVD, DRIE, sacrificial release, and related integration challenges.
· Hands-on experience in cleanroom processing, metrology, and failure analysis techniques (e.g., SEM, AFM, nanoindentation, profilometry).
· Proficiency with DOE methodologies, data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Python), and structured process characterization.
· Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
· Proactive, adaptable, and self-driven problem solver who thrives in a dynamic R&D environment with multidisciplinary teams.
