Duties and Responsibilities
-Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procurement transactions and statuses, contracts and vendor agreements, and maintain organized records for easy retrieval via the purchasing system.
-Perform data entry tasks related to procurement activities, including inputting purchase orders, vendor information, and inventory data into the purchasing system.
-Coordinate with intercompany departments to gather necessary information and ensure seamless data flow between procurement and the purchasing system.
-Monitor progress and purchase order statuses via the purchasing system, and proactively address any delays or bottlenecks to maintain efficient operations.
-Manage daily workflow within the procurement department, prioritizing tasks and assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
-Collaborate closely with stakeholders to address procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
-Ensure compliance with record-keeping policies and procedures to support audit requirements and regulatory compliance.
