Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Production
• Position Title: Estimation Engineer/ Cost Engineer
• Working Location: North East (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 6pm
• Salary Package: Up to $4500 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately estimate costs for aircraft maintenance tooling and GSE, considering materials, labor, and overhead.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to collect essential data for the estimation process.
• Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements to devise cost-effective acquisition or fabrication strategies for tools and equipment.
• Deliver precise pricing for new projects, modifications, or repairs related to tools and GSE.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and enhancements in maintenance tooling and GSE.
• Perform market research and liaise with suppliers to obtain material and equipment pricing.
• Any other task as assigned by the Superior.

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, servicing, or repair of aircraft maintenance tooling and GSE.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, GD&T, materials, surface & heat treatments, and testing.
