Operations Lead / Technical Lead (Mechanical Construction) - #1099196

Are you a hands-on and technically strong mechanical construction professional? We are looking for a Technical & Operations Lead who can be the backbone of our mechanical construction team – someone who thrives in both technical problem-solving and field execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee mechanical construction works across various project sites (e.g., piping, HVAC, ACMV, plumbing & sanitary, fire protection, etc.)

• Provide strong technical support, including interpreting drawings, resolving site technical issues, and coordinating with consultants and clients.

• Manage project execution schedules, manpower deployment, site inspections, and subcontractor coordination.

• Drive site productivity, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

• Coordinate material requisition, logistics planning, and on-site installation activities.

• Support project planning, progress reporting, and technical documentation.

• Work closely with the Project Director/Manager to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers or supervisors when required.

• Prepare technical write-up

• Provide guidance in value engineering, advise on technical compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering,

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical works within the construction sector (preferably building or infrastructure projects).

• Strong technical foundation and familiarity with construction methods, codes, and industry practices.

• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate site activities independently.

• Hands-on, practical mindset with excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.
