Overview:
A high-performing private investment firm with a regional presence across Asia is seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure alignment between people practices and business needs. This is an opportunity to manage the full spectrum of HR responsibilities in a lean, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment, supporting a high-performance culture through sound policy execution and employee engagement.
Location: Singapore (with regional exposure across Asia)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and foster a strong, cohesive company culture.
Lead the full spectrum of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations.
Provide HR guidance to management and staff on internal policies, employment legislation, and HR best practices.
Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring consistent and positive employee experiences.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and organize relevant training and development programs.
Monitor and analyse HR metrics and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and support policy development where needed.
Ideal Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Over 10 years of HR experience, with solid exposure to generalist responsibilities across multiple HR disciplines.
Background in private equity, asset management, or other investment-driven, high-growth environments is highly advantageous.
Proven ability to partner effectively with business leaders and thrive amid ambiguity in a fast-paced setting.
Track record of independently managing HR initiatives across regional markets.
Exceptional stakeholder management, adaptability, and hands-on execution skills.
Proficient in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders across the region.
Prior experience in lean or start-up environments is a strong plus.
