Job Duties:

Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repairing electrical systems and components onboard ships.
Carrying out testing and calibration of gas detectors in workshop.
Supervising external contractors when needed.
Assist crew and Supt with ordering the correct spares.
Provides detailed reports on work completed.

️Shipboard electrical systems such as:

o Engine control and alarm system

o Fire alarm system

o CO2 / water mist system

o OWS / ODME

o Ballast water Management System

o Cargo monitoring system

Requirements:

Minimum Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronic
Able to interpret electrical schematic drawings.
At least 1 years of Marine Service Engineer experience
Able to work standby basis
Able to in anchorage and shipyard
Able to handle situations in dealing with ship crew
