Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Singapore. This role combines responsibilities in product costing, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and audit support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and be confident in cost analysis, internal controls, and audit processes to support business growth and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and maintain standard product costing models, ensuring alignment with manufacturing processes and BOM accuracy.
• Partner with production, supply chain, and R&D teams to validate cost assumptions and support pricing decisions.
• Analyze manufacturing cost variances (material, labor, overhead) and recommend actions to improve cost efficiency.
• Support the periodic budget and forecasting cycles, integrating cost and operational data into planning models.
• Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business performance monitoring.
• Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning and decision support.
• Assist in cost control, CAPEX, OPEX reviews, and margin analysis.
• Support finance operations, external audits, including preparation of audit schedules, reconciliations, and documentation etc.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in finance process improvement and digitalization initiatives, including system refinement and enhancement.
• Prepare, review, and update finance-related SOPs to ensure standardized and compliant processes.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in product costing, FP&A, or audit.
• Prior operational experience in a manufacturing or plant-based environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and Excel modelling skills is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S4 Hana (preferred), Oracle, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA / CA / CMA / CFA or equivalent professional certification.
• Prior experience supporting statutory audits and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and inventory valuation methods.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
