Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer - PLC / Chemical Industry - #1098284

Our client is a Chemical MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Job Responsibilities

• Support daily, ad-hoc, and shutdown maintenance activities to ensure work is carried out safely, on time, and within budget.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to carry out maintenance and improvement works.

• Provide technical support for plant operations, including troubleshooting equipment issues and recommending effective solutions.

• Guide and mentor a team of supervisors or senior technicians to ensure proper execution of maintenance tasks.

• Review maintenance plans and documents to ensure proper planning and execution.

• Develop and update maintenance procedures and work instructions.

• Assist in analyzing equipment performance and suggest improvements based on preventive and predictive maintenance data.

• Support and coordinate annual plant shutdown activities, including inspections and necessary documentation.

• Propose and lead improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.

• Conduct technical briefings and basic training for internal staff and contractors to ensure safe and effective work practices.

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Min of 3 years of experience in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.

• Hands-on experience with PLC and packaging systems.
