Position : Marine Navigation/Communications Service Engineer - Up to $3,800 - Boon Lay - ALL WELCOME!
Location : Boon Lay
Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday: 8.00AM to 5.00PM / 9.00AM to 6.00PM
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,800 + AWS + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave + Transport Claimable + Medical

Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and service various marine navigation and communication systems including MARINE RADAR systems, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, maritime IT equipment, and VSAT systems.
Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections on installed systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of onboard systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crew members regarding the operation and maintenance of navigation and communication systems.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate installations, upgrades, and repairs as needed.
Keep abreast of industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements in marine navigation and communication systems.
Document all service activities, including installation procedures, troubleshooting steps, and solutions provided, accurately and comprehensively.
Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of marine navigation and communication systems
Proficiency in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MARINE RADAR systems, chartplotters, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, VHF radios, MF/HF SSB, autopilots, maritime IT equipment, and VSAT systems.
Strong knowledge of IT/networking principles and protocols.
General Operator's Certificate (GOC) is recommended.
Familiarity with marine electrical and electronics systems is desirable.
