JOB DESCRIPTION :
• Supervise daily operations, train and lead staff in maintaining a clean Hotel
• Involve in strategic planning and provide direction for the entire department to progress.
• Review daily and monthly manpower schedules
• Schedule and approve staff annual leaves, public holidays and overtimes.
• Conduct daily briefing
• Maintain working equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Requisite and maintain optimal stock level.
• Ensure Lost and Found properties according to set procedures.
• Coordinate with the relevant departments to manage guest requests, inquiries, and complaints related to accommodations, services, and billing—ensuring timely and effective resolutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Work in close collaboration with the Respective Department to promptly resolve any defects or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
• Oversee pest control activities with a strong focus on detail and hygiene standards.
• Liaise with the Maintenance Department to implement and monitor a preventive maintenance schedule for guest rooms and public areas
• Perform regular spot checks on staff performance, addressing errors or areas of improvement promptly.
• Coordinate with contractors on existing projects or new assignments. Recommend items to be written off and new purchase
• Organize and lead regular training sessions to ensure staff are well-versed in standard operating procedures, while also addressing concerns, assigning duties, and reinforcing high service standards.
• Any other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or other relevant qualification is preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ related experience
• Commitment to work rotating shift including weekends and public holiday
• Meticulous with strong attention to details with good follow-up
