We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Singapore. You will play a critical role in driving accurate financial reporting, system ownership and compliance with Singapore’s financial regulations. What You'll Be Doing

You’ll report to the Corporate Accounting Manager and be responsible for:

• Acting as the system owner for all finance and accounting platforms, ensuring robust controls are in place

• Overseeing daily finance operations and continuously identifying areas for automation and efficiency

• Monitoring bank covenants and intercompany transactions, including monthly billing to affiliate entities

• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L and balance sheet reporting

• Handling monthly consolidation of accounts and preparing reconciliation schedules

• Coordinating annual fixed asset verification exercises

• Ensuring compliance reporting and GST returns are filed on time

• Liaising with external auditors, tax agents and overseas subsidiaries on statutory submissions

• Supporting year-end closing and group consolidation processes

• Advising on FRS implementations and driving technical accounting initiatives

• Streamlining finance workflows to boost departmental effectiveness

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Must-Haves

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, either in commercial settings or Big 4 audit firms

• Proven experience in group consolidation

• Solid understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Navision or similar ERP systems

• Strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and meet regulatory deadlines

• Experience in a regional or global role with cross-border tax exposure

• A positive, solution-focused mindset with strong adaptability

• Excellent communication skills across diverse teams and geographies
