Transport Coordinator (Class 2B) - #1097487

The incumbent will perform collaborating with various parties to support the daily logistics/distribution operations.

What you will do

• Collaborate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams on movement of shipments in accordance with delivery schedules. 

• Plan optimal transportation routes to minimize transit times and costs.  

• Prepare and maintain accurate transportation-related documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and delivery confirmation. 

• Optimize load consolidation to maximize vehicle capacity and reduce transportation costs.  

• Monitor on-time delivery, transit times and delivery accuracy.  

• Liaise with customers to provide shipment status updates. 

Do you have what it takes? 

• Possess relevant experience in transportation coordination  

• Familiar with route optimization software and transportation management systems (TMS). 

• Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers, carriers and drivers 

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment  

• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance have an added advantage. 

• Class 2B driving license is required as coordinator may need to cover for urgent delivery if needed

• Comfortable working at 1 Greenwich Drive

• GMP Certified has an added advantage but not mandatory

Working Hours:

• Class 2B project:

  Able to commit rotational day and night shift
  Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm + half Saturday/Sunday 8.30am to 12.30pm 
  Night shift: Monday to Friday, 9pm to 6am + half Saturday/Sunday 9pm to 1am
