About the job

We are looking for a AutoCAD Engineer to support our Manufacturing Automation team in maintaining, updating, and organizing engineering documentation and drawings in accordance with GMP and internal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and archive engineering drawings and documentation in line with Plant Document Storage SOP-121 related to CGMP/CGDP retention, retrieval, and disposal practices.

• Create, update, and archive various types of engineering drawings, including:

• Network Diagrams

• Electrical Power Drawings

• Control Cabinet Layouts

• Instrument Loop Diagrams

• Support the documentation and drawing needs of ongoing projects using AutoCAD and related design tools.

• Verify document accuracy and update drawing locations per instructions from project engineers.

• Assist in maintaining Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation for automation systems.

• Organize and update Change Control Packages, ensuring all associated drawings and files are up to date.

• Provide drawing-related input and support for Automation Qualification documents (e.g., AIQ, AOQ).

• Maintain and support documentation for User Management, Work Orders, and System Incident Records.

• Assist in the proper disposal of outdated documents based on retention timelines and engineer directives.

• Collaborate with project engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of engineering drawings.

• Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the manager or engineering leads.
