Traffic Engineer (LTA / Main Contractor) - #1097389

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic project team responsible for LTA infrastructure projects, including roadworks, MRT stations, tunnels, and viaducts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with LTA, consultants, and subcontractors to obtain approvals for traffic schemes.

• Conduct traffic studies, impact assessments, and site visits to identify risks and provide mitigation measures.

• Prepare detailed traffic management plans, drawings, and related documentation for submission.

• Ensure traffic schemes are implemented safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules.

• Monitor site traffic flow and manage real-time issues affecting public road users and site logistics.

• Ensure all road signage, barriers, and traffic control devices meet regulatory standards.

• Liaise with LTA Traffic, TP, SCDF, and other stakeholders for joint inspections and approvals.

• Provide technical support and advice to site teams regarding traffic arrangements and constraints.

• Review contractors’ traffic proposals and provide feedback or alternative solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 of experience in traffic engineering, particularly in LTA or public infrastructure projects.

• Proficient in the preparation and submission of TTDS, including AutoCAD and traffic simulation tools.

• Experience liaising with LTA, Traffic Police, and other statutory authorities.

• Knowledge of local traffic laws, work zone safety standards, and pedestrian management.

• Able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple submissions concurrently.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in MRT, viaduct, or highway projects
