Job Description:
We are seeking an individual with a strong background in finance processes, documentation, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage finance-related projects, including timelines and deliverables.
• Analyse and manage risks of projects, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
• Track project progress and provide regular project updates.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and document detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Collaborate with finance team members to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure all SOPs align with regulatory standards, internal controls, and SINDA policies.
• Prepare and maintain slides deck for training and guidance on relevant SOPs and presentation to Key Management Personnel.
• Prepare Financial and Management reports including but not limited to designing dashboards, preparing interactive slides
• Assist with payment processing and donation administration in NetSuite, where required
• Assist with month-end accounts closing and prepare monthly audit schedules, where required
• Support Budget Exercise, where required
Additional responsibilities:
• Assist with Internal and External Audits as required
• Participate in Divisional and SINDA-wide events when required
• Any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer and HOD.
Requirements
• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or an equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficient in tools to prepare flow charts (eg. Microsoft Visio etc) and MS Office or M365 (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and updating financial SOPs or related documentation.
• Experience in NetSuite and TenderBoard would be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• Meticulous with a good work attitude.
