Business Development:
• Identify and target potential clients within various industries (commercial, government, industrial, residential) to expand the company’s portfolio of security system solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including security managers, IT managers, and procurement officers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust business strategies and capture new opportunities.
• Attend industry conferences, networking events, and meetings to stay updated on trends and generate new business leads.
• Create and deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and proposals tailored to client needs.
Solution Design & Management:
• Work closely with customers to understand their specific security challenges and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and recommend customized security solutions, including CCTV systems, access control, alarm systems, and integrated security platforms.
• Ensure that proposed solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and meet all technical specifications and compliance requirements.
• Lead the proposal process, including scoping, preparing detailed quotations, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability and compatibility of security hardware and software.
Project Oversight & Implementation:
• Oversee the end-to-end implementation of security system solutions, working with project managers and installation teams to ensure smooth deployment.
• Ensure that security solutions are integrated effectively with clients’ existing systems.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage client expectations and address any post-installation concerns or technical issues to ensure long-term satisfaction.
Customer Support & Retention:
• Develop and implement strategies for long-term client retention and satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing support to clients, including training, troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance schedules.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements or upgrades to optimize security solutions.
Collaboration & Reporting:
• Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to align business development efforts with product offerings and market needs.
• Report on sales progress, opportunities, and challenges to senior management.
• Provide insights into customer feedback, product gaps, and industry trends to contribute to future product development.
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology
• Minimal 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or solution management in the security systems or related technology sector.
• In-depth knowledge of security system technologies, such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.
• Proven experience in creating and delivering customized security solutions for diverse clients.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites as required.
