Inventory Controller - #1096786

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Controller to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, analyzing stock movement trends, identifying slow-moving and fast-moving products, and raising timely purchase requests to ensure stock availability while minimizing waste and overstock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records for all meat products (commodity to premium; chilled and frozen).

• Monitor and reconcile daily stock movement, including goods received, dispatched, returned, and adjusted.

• Conduct regular physical inventory checks and cycle counts; reconcile variances.

• Analyze inventory data to identify stock trends, slow-moving and fast-moving SKUs, and recommend actions.

• Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to forecast demand and align inventory levels.

• Raise purchase requests based on stock thresholds, lead times, and sales patterns.

• Track inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate stock entries.

• Optimize storage space and stock rotation, especially for perishable products with expiration dates.

• Implement and improve inventory control procedures and systems.

• Generate regular inventory reports for management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in inventory control, stock analysis, or warehouse management (experience in food or meat distribution is preferred).

• Strong understanding of inventory software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in cold storage environments when required.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, and HACCP standards is a plus.
