Facade Engineer (Hospital Project) (ID: 676310) JF - #1096716

Our client, a well-known A1 main contractor in the construction industry, is looking for candidates for the position of Facade Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Facade specialist contractors including unitized Alum Window Wall / Curtain Wall and Precast Concrete Facade

• Review and manage design and technical issues with relevant consultants and specialist contractors to ensure submissions and site works are in accordance to contract specifications

• Review structural details, connection details and provisions for water tightness, considering with installation method

• Ensure delivery of samples, shop drawings, document submissions, BIM models and site works in accordance to project schedule

• Ensure all necessary authority approvals are obtained in accordance to project schedule

• Coordinate all interfacing facade details with architectural, structural and M&E components

• Monitor progress of façade fabrication and installation works and communicate regularly with the Project Manager

• Establish QAQC protocols / procedures to ensure to meet specifications and requirements

• Conduct periodic technical meeting with consultants and specialist contractors & maintain inspection records and documentation of all completed works

• Keep track on variation and claims of contract, time and cost implications and communicate information to Project Manager

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree / Diploma in Architectural / Building / Construction Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years experience in Facade works in Singapore

• Preferably experiences in Hospital Project

• Preferably experiences to manage Landscape works, Irrigation works and RWDP works

• Candidates with experience in Revit / Navisworks will have added advantage

• Good communication skills and a team player

• Attentive to details
