We’re looking to add a Planner in Singapore. The position is based in our GES Site in Marsiling.
As a Planner, you will:
Plan and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Lead and coordinate support internally to support daily ops requirements. Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations with minimum disruptions to customer’s requirements and assist the Program Manager to manage the customer accounts as assigned.
The key responsibilities are as below:
To be the key Liaison personnel in internal operations with stakeholders like Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Quality etc. team supporting daily operations flow.
To lead and drive daily End-Of-Day (EOD) meeting to review daily output, WIP, Kitting, Production issues with Ops team to ensure smooth operation flow and adherence to Master Production Schedule (MPS).
To have an eye for detail to anticipate potential issues and to resolve them before operation disruptions.
To prepare Master Production Schedule (MPS), optimizing the use of available resources and coordinate with related departments to ensure product, volume and shipment are meeting targeted levels.
To release and maintain Work Orders per MPS (WO and forecast in SAP based on Customers’ Purchase Order Requirements, Forecast and commit shipments against required dates).
To monitor and ensure Production follow strictly to the MPS / Priority and to close WO within the targeted time line.
To attend conference calls with customer on supply chain topics to declare Clear to Build (CTB), shortages and recovery plan to ensure requirements from customers are met.
To participate in NPI and redesigning projects and meeting milestones of the project delivery schedule.
To co-ordinate & work with cross-functional departments to execute cost reduction project.
To manage ECO administration and response to customer on ECO impact, ensuring ECOs are implemented per instructed.
To execute inventory management control through strategic planning to meet inventory directives set-forth by management to achieve target inventory days.
To prepare business reports as required, including analysis of monthly inventory report and manage EOL inventory control.
To meet KPI targets set-forth by management as well as reporting manager.
Any other duties as assigned by Program Manager.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
Diploma or Degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of working experience in production related field.
Familiar with Production Cycle from start-to-end, and active participant in daily operations.
Experience in MPS planning and execution.
Working experience in contract manufacturing environment.
Planning and fulfillment.
Good communication skill and able to liaise with customers.
Good presentation skill
Proficient in Excel spreadsheet.
