The Assistant Project Manager will lead and manage projects of various complexity. These projects can range from Development projects which entail the full spectrum of design, development, installation, integration and testing activities before system delivery to Customer; or Proof-of-Concept (POC) system trials, both in Singapore and potentially overseas, to test and evaluate the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Systems.
The Assistant Project Manager need to be people oriented as he/ she will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to complete the project milestones on time within the budget and meeting the Customer’s requirements. Due to the nature of the systems, it will be advantageous for the Project Manager to have a technical background.

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a project management plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Monitor the project’s progress using appropriate project management tools and techniques
Report and escalate issues to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
Create and maintain adequate project documentation
Delegate project tasks based on the team members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
Qualities We Value
Knowledge in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or equivalent
Proven working experience in project management preferred
Good client-facing and internal communication skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with at least one project management software tool e.g. Microsoft Project
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Positive attitude and willing to learn
May be required to travel overseas, ranging from 1 to 3 weeks.
Willing to work outdoors and at different sites in Singapore. Some trials and activities may be done after office hours or on weekends, if needed
